We convert your PDF or sketch to a production-ready CAD file in Sophia

To order parts in our online software Sophia®, you need a suitable CAD file, such as a STEP, DXF or DWG file. Do you only have a PDF or sketch of your design? Then you often get stuck here. With our CAD conversion service, we make sure you can simply order.

What is the CAD conversion service?

With the CAD conversion service, we translate your sketch or PDF into a CAD file (STEP, DXF or DWG file) that is suitable for production. This file is placed directly into Sophia®, so you can proceed with your project immediately.

How does 247TailorSteel's CAD service work?

You have registered for Sophia® and are about to order your parts. But you only have a working drawing in PDF or sketch. No problem! Here's how it works:

Go to 'support' and select 'sales'.
Select 'CAD conversion service
Describe your part and upload your file and/or sketches
Send your request.

Our Customer Service evaluates your request and will contact you within one business day with a quote. A simple design costs only €30, for more complex designs an hourly rate applies.

Do you agree? Then we convert your design in one working day to a suitable CAD-file and put it ready for you in Sophia® as a new project. Do you then place an order? Then in many cases we will (partially) cover the CAD costs.

Directly according to our delivery specifications

The CAD conversion service converts your design to a suitable CAD file (STEP/DWG/DXF) and signs it completely according to the 247TailorSteel delivery specifications. This makes your file immediately manufacturable and ready for production.
